After spending many hours perfecting the operation of this incredible aircraft and then not flying it for almost 2 years I’ve decided its time to move it to a new home.
This is the largest RC model V22 Osprey available (by Banana Hobby) and almost twice the size of the Horizon Hobbies model.
Wingspan is approx 860mm & length is just under 900mm
It is relatively easy to fly (once you understand how it works), flies on a 4S 1800 to 2200 LiPo battery and has a built in flight controller that takes care of all the complicated bits.
It takes off and hovers much like a conventional Multi Rotor (Quad Copter – well Tri Copter really) and with the flick of a switch transitions to a regular aircraft. It flies really well and the only thing you need to watch for is it doesn’t like a tail wind when landing vertically.
It is currently fitted with an 8 channel FrSky X8R receiver and needs 5 channels. I have it programmed into a Jumper T16 (multiProtocol Module-in FrSky mode) and will provide a printout of the programming (or assist in programming your radio) to get you started.
Out of all my planes, and I have had many, this is the only one I can actually fly in my back yard.
I would prefer local pickup but its relatively easy to dismantle & package so postage is an option (at buyers cost)
Asking price is $250.00 ono & comes with Rx & flight controller installed (you need compatible radio & battery and you are ready to go)
